Job Summary:

Performs entry level custodial work. Work involves cleaning and caring for ESC/Ecoland building, facilities, and the premises, maintaining custodial equipment, requesting supplies, and performing minor equipment repairs. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Education/Training:

High School Diploma / GED Prefer college hours or Associates Degree

At least 3 years of related experience. Knowledge /

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Performs general custodial functions such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and cleaning windows, light fixtures, and carpet. 2. Performs minor maintenance and repair work on custodial equipment. 3. Cleans office furniture, walls, windows, and floors; and empties trash. 4. Moves office furniture and other items. 5. Operates floor maintenance equipment, including vacuums and extractors. 6. Checks cafe daily and maintains cleanliness. 7. Assists in inspecting building and facilities for cleanliness, completed work, and needed repairs. 8. Assists in reviewing grounds and trash pickup weekly. 9. Adjusts workshop setup each afternoon for the next day's sessions. •Regular and reliable attendance. •Other duties as assigned.
