Custodian (Night)

Custodian (Night) 2026-2027 School Year Under the direct supervision of the Principal, Custodial Supervisor, and Business Administrator, performs general cleaning and maintenance in school buildings and grounds; maintains equipment in functional condition; and provides cleaning and custodial assistance to students, teachers, visitors, and others, as necessary. Monday - Friday /

Night Shift :

3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. (includes 30-min meal break)

Qualifications:

Knowledge of cleaning procedures and ability to perform cleaning duties of building and grounds. Ability to be self-directed, show initiative, be dependable and assume responsibility. Ability to report earlier to open building as needed. Ability to move, receive and store building supplies and materials. Ability to work outside in all weather conditions. Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs. Current low-pressure Black Seal Boiler license preferred or must be able to obtain within 1 year of hire.

Terms of Employment:

12-month position Position is subject to the conditions of the Manasquan Education Association collective bargaining agreement.

Annual Salary Range:

$48,909.00 to $63,047 with overtime opportunities available.

General Description of Benefits:

Employee-only medical, prescription, and dental benefits subject to requirements and employee contributions under Chapter 44, as applicable, or payment for insurance waiver ($2,500 single). Full family benefits included after completing three years of employment. Enrollment in NJ Public Employees' Retirement System.
