This is a 20-23-hour-per-week position with preferred core hours Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, plus flexible additional hours scheduled around the church calendar. See the full job description at www.saintpauls-ucc.org/jobs Responsibilities include regular cleaning of all areas of the building (sanctuary, fellowship hall, offices, restrooms); seasonal upkeep including interior window washing and floor care; minor maintenance and light equipment repair (vacuums, thermostats, A/C units); exterior tasks such as weed control, leaf and debris removal, and sidewalk snow and ice clearing (parking lot plowing is contracted); and set-up and tear-down for special events.

Required:

experience cleaning in an office or commercial environment; experience maintaining building grounds; comfort with minor equipment repair; reliable transportation; ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and move for extended periods, climb ladders, and work outdoors; high school diploma or GED.

Preferred:

experience in a church or nonprofit setting; experience with cleaning and maintenance vendors; equipment maintenance training or certifications.

Pay:

$15-$17 per hour, depending on experience, paid biweekly. Start date as soon as possible.
