SUMMARY:

The Focus of this position is student food service and maintaining a clean, safe and functional environment for the Navajo County Accommodation District and Education Service Agency.

Follow cleaning task list for daily, weekly cleaning. All areas of the school including: classrooms, hallways, bathrooms, office area, multipurpose room, kitchen, workroom, entryway and front sidewalk Cleans and Sanitizes school office, cafeteria, classrooms, hallways, bathrooms and other school facilities to provide a clean environment. Dusts furniture and shelves, vacuums carpet, mops and sweeps floors. Scrubs windows, toilets, tables, light fixtures, white board. Remove Graffiti and touches-up walls as needed. Cleans outside area of building, sweeps sidewalks, rakes, picks up any trash. Assists with the general care of trees, flowers and landscaping during the normal growing seasons and non-growing season weather permitting. Care for assigned tools, supplies and equipment making sure these items are stored properly in a secure location. Report all necessary repairs. Communicated in a courteous manner with superiors, peers and subordinates Maintains quality work performance while demonstrating economic use of supplies and proper care of equipment. Opens and secures building. Focuses on the safety of the building and its occupants Support the educational programs by ensuring a positive dining experience for students. First contact with student, staff, community Prepare breakfast Pick up lunch from Holbrook Unified School District Serve Lunch and breakfast to students maintaining portion control and presentation standards Adhere to health and safety regulations Keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and organized. This includes washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring that cooking equipment is in good condition.
