Custodian/Janitor part time

Part time only Monday thru Friday. Must be in good physical health, this job required climbing stairs each day. We are cleaning office buildings in the Lansing Area. you would be part of a team, doing basic cleaning of each building. this is a set schedule, Monday thru Friday , always starting at 5:30pm to 10:30pm These are long term jobs, no temp or summer jobs available. Paid Training Part time Long term Set schedule 5:30pm to 10:30pm Monday thru Friday (ending time may vary) No experience necessary We love transferable skills We need people friendly staff, Any past experience is welcome, Cashiers, clerks, office staff, State of Michigan, Retired persons. Requirements include but are not limited to: having reliable transportation to and from the job site, passing a criminal background check, having the ability to bend, lift, pull push and/or carry objects up to 40 pounds, reliable attendance and excellent work quality.

YOU MUST HAVE A CLEAR CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK.

We are looking for a dependable, responsible employee who will show up on time, You must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time and will be responsible for meticulously cleaning in office buildings. You must have excellent customer service skills and be good at following directions. Job duties include but are not limited to:

• vacuuming
• Emptying trash receptacles
• Mopping
• Posting wet floor signs
• Cleaning bathrooms, counter tops, desk areas
• Maintaining bathroom and common area supplies
• Dusting
• cleaning entry ways, work spaces and common areas as needed
• Spot cleaning glass windows/structures
• Other janitorial duties as needed by the management
• Following directions and being flexible with various cleaning tasks
• Working independently
• Being receptive to supervised quality control checks and continuous improvement as well as using stairs/elevators, etc.
