Custodian/Maintenance Worker - Part Time

Join our dynamic team, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our facilities operate smoothly and efficiently. This role ensure both both the façade and the interior of the facility is fresh, clean and appealing. This candidate is personable, has a keen eye for detail, and a willingness to learn. They will collaborate with team members to assess and respond to grounds and maintenance issues, develops a rapport with consumers by being both knowledgeable and friendly, and inspires trust by caring for the Agency. Has a basic maintenance understanding, and is quick to learn new skills. Communication of the timeline and process for repairs when necessary is vital. What you'll do

• Primary responsibility for cleaning the office building.
• Cleaning involves the following examples, but is not limited to: emptying trash cans, mopping floors, waxing floors as needed, vacuuming, sanitizing appliances, cleaning mirrors, windows, offices and restrooms.
• Grounds keeping outdoors.
• Repairs as needed
• Maintain an adequate amount of cleaning supplies.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are maintained and neatly stocked in a locked area.
• Maintains daily cleaning log.
• Serves as a back-up driver, when/if needed.
• Establishes and maintains rapport with staff and clients.
• General conduct should be friendly and helpful.
• Person should be punctual in attendance.

Qualifications:

• General interest in custodial and/or maintenance work and an ability to demonstrate mechanical aptitude
• Availability to work hours ranging from 1 pm - 6pm - not to exceed 25 hours/week.
