Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled cabinet shop employee to join our team, responsible for a variety of custom cabinets. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in carpentry, construction, and various building techniques. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team to complete projects efficiently and effectively. There is potential for a bonus throughout the year tied to efficient, well-executed production. We are a third-generation, family-owned company built by hard work. As the third-generation owner, I'm focused on making thoughtful improvements that strengthen the business, improve our team's quality of life, and create a place people are proud to work. Responsibilities Execute millwork tasks including installation. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate project execution. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various building tasks. Conduct heavy lifting and physical labor as required on job sites. Install cabinetry and doors. Some trim work. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Qualifications Proven experience in construction industry is preferred. Strong skills in carpentry including trim carpentry, cabinet installation, and door hanging. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. Understanding of safety protocols on construction sites to minimize risks. Capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
