Alpine, TX May 2026 Position Overview/Description Big Bend Telephone Company is expanding its team in Alpine, Texas, and is seeking a driven professional to lead customer operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a leadership role, enjoys technical troubleshooting, and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. The Customer Operations Lead will help support daily customer service operations, assist team members, resolve customer concerns, and contribute to a positive and efficient service environment. This role requires strong communication skills, adaptability, organization, and the ability to lead by example while supporting both customers and internal team members. Essential Job Functions Leads and supports customer operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Assists customers with service questions, account needs, troubleshooting concerns, and general support. Provides leadership, guidance, and support to customer service team members. Helps ensure customers receive timely, professional, and accurate assistance. Supports technical troubleshooting efforts and works with internal departments to help resolve customer concerns. Maintains a positive and solutions-focused approach when assisting customers and team members. Helps identify opportunities to improve customer service processes, team efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Communicates clearly with customers, employees, supervisors, and other departments. Assists with training, coaching, and supporting team members as needed. Helps maintain a collaborative and dynamic team culture. Adapts to changing priorities and supports the needs of the organization. Qualifications Previous customer service, technical support, or operations experience preferred. Leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and explain solutions clearly to customers. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Ability to support both customers and team members with patience, accuracy, and care. Must be adaptable, dependable, and ready to make a positive impact.
