Customer Service & Cashier Assistant Sour Lake Chevrolet Truckville Position Overview Sour Lake Chevrolet Truckville is currently seeking a dependable, outgoing, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service & Cashier Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable handling administrative and customer service responsibilities. The selected candidate will assist service customers with payments and paperwork while also serving as a backup receptionist as needed. Responsibilities Process customer payments including cash, checks, and credit cards Handle cash transactions and make accurate change Scan, file, and organize paperwork and service documents Assist with bank deposit paperwork and daily administrative tasks Provide backup receptionist coverage during lunch breaks and occasional schedule needs Answer and direct phone calls using the dealership phone system Deliver friendly, professional customer service to all guests and clients Maintain a clean and organized front office environment Qualifications Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor Strong customer service and communication skills Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership systems Comfortable operating credit card machines and handling cash transactions Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Ability to multitask in a busy office setting Previous receptionist, cashier, or office experience is helpful but not required Training On-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate. Schedule Monday•
Friday:
9:00 AM•6:00 PM
Occasional Saturdays:
8:00 AM•5:00 PM covering the reception desk Compensation $12.00 per hour Dress Code Business Casual
