Poco Pizza Overview We are a 10-year-old small frozen food business located on our family dairy farm in Van Dyne (exactly between FDL and Oshkosh). We make frozen pizzas with local and home-grown ingredients. We're only open 5 hours a week every Saturday, with the majority of our orders coming in through our website during the week. We hand over about 200 orders of 5+ pizzas each Saturday. We also sell pints of ice cream made by our farmer friends at Kelley Country Creamery, and fresh bakery from Thunderbird in Oshkosh. Customer Service Manager Overview The Customer Service position's hours are the same every week. Friday 8a - 1p, and Saturday 9a - 4p. Fridays you'll check emails and text messages, and print, organize, and bag & tag all the online orders. We also bake our weekly Free Treat, and text each customer reminding them to come to the farm Saturday. Saturdays we cut and bag treats, load up delivery orders, and then it's a very fast-paced hustle of greeting customers, handing over the online orders through our walk-up window, and grabbing pizzas out of the freezers for our walk-in guests. Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for online orders and new customer inquiries Bake our weekly free treat -- cookie bars that are mixed and panned up the day before. Develop and implement any new customer service policies, procedures, and standards that might better meet customer needs. Coordinate, bag, and tag all orders. Ensure we maintain our 100% error free order fulfillment process. Have the skillset and ability to complete a task while maintaining a conversation with another customer. Able to use our point of sale system and supporting technology, accurately counting money while holding cordial conversations with customers. Oversee the retail displays and inventory for baked goods and other local food items. Maintain a calm, kind, and welcoming demeanor for new guests while juggling several other tasks during our short, fast-paced workday. Keep Shawn, the owner, on task because he tends to talk too much. Experience Proven customer service background A history of accurately and responsibly using retail point of sale systems A track-record of being calm and kind under pressure An above average knowledge of food and cooking A level of comfort with modern technology and basic computer skills Over 18 with reliable transportation, and able to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs Excellent communication skills coupled with organizational skills for managing multiple priorities efficiently. We are a small, local food business on a family farm. You have to be comfortable with farm life and animals being around. You also need to be able to hold a conversation with kind people from all walks of life. We have never advertised, so we're a word-of-mouth business with the absolute best customers. This is also our home, so we welcome people the way we would welcome family. Our limited hours mean we do have to move fast, but we do it with a truly genuine and kind smile. We have a rotating menu of over 550 different pizzas, so a good knowledge of food helps when customers have questions. And, it probably goes without saying, but you really do have to love pizza.
