Job Description

Job Summary :
Customer Service Manager for all entities involved in PFS operations. Manages and supervises the Customer Service team, including productivity and quality monitoring, corrective actions and trouble shooting. Responsible for bankruptcy, deceased, Bad Debt legals and attorney requests, as well as other Customer Service duties as assigned. Manages the teams towards departmental goals and objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
Manages Customer Service regarding patient accounts for Anderson Healthcare Handles patient disputes and escalated patient calls Responsible for deceased and probate patient processes Responsible for bankruptcies notification and processes Responsible for Bad Debt legal notifications from the Bad Debt agencies Monitoring to ensure attorney requests are being fulfilled in a timely manner Manages and supervises Customer Service team Performs and oversees team training needs. Monitors productivity and quality standards for each team member, and reports results to the (PFS) Director. Performs corrective action for employees as needed. Selection and hiring of new employees, in consultation with PFS Director. Maintains working relationships with other departments to resolve issues. Maintains effective working knowledge of Meditech, FinThrive applications, and all other PFS ancillary software applications.
Education Requirements and Other Requirements:
Education Level:
High School diploma or equivalent. Degree or college course work in business, accounting, or management preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 2 years hospital patient accounts supervisory experience preferred. Experience with Meditech and FinThrive Claims Management preferred. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word applications required.
