The company manufactures products for a diverse range of industries and market sectors including public security, defence, transportation, utilities, manufacturing, construction and consumer goods. The main manufacturing site is based in London with offices based in USA, Singapore, France & Australia. Role Overview The Customer Service & Order Processing role provides day-to-day customer service and order coordination support to the North American business. The role focuses on ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, delivery information is communicated clearly, and customer enquiries are handled efficiently. The successful candidate will work closely with the Partner Services Manager and internal departments to ensure customer orders progress smoothly from receipt through to fulfilment. The role requires strong attention to detail, organisation and clear communication with customers and colleagues. Main Duties and Responsibilities Customer Service & Order Processing Responsibilities Manage customer enquiries via phone and email. Process customer orders and enter them accurately into company systems. Cross-check customer purchase orders for accuracy including product, pricing and delivery details. Send customer order confirmations and supporting documentation. Maintain communication with customers regarding delivery schedules, order changes and tracking updates. Support handling of returns and customer service cases. Maintain accurate filing and system records for customer documentation. Check customer orders for special terms and escalate unusual matters where appropriate. Collect and process warehouse pick list information and update tracking details in ERP systems. Operational Support Responsibilities Keep customers informed of any changes to delivery dates or product availability. Support internal coordination between planning, purchasing, warehouse and logistics teams. Maintain accurate customer and order information within company systems. Provide general administrative support to the partner services team as required. Assist colleagues with customer enquiries or order processing during busy periods or absence cover. Skills and Experience Experience in customer service, order processing, administration or office support role desirable. Comfortable working with IT systems such as SAP and Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Good communication skills with customers and internal teams. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Personal Attributes Customer-focused with a professional and positive approach. Reliable and detail oriented. Calm and organised when managing multiple orders. Supportive team player willing to assist colleagues where required. Working Hours 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday from 8am until 5pm. 60 minutes lunch break unpaid and two paid tea breaks of 15 minutes each.
