Job Description:
Customer Service Representative Direct Hire | 1st
Shift Pay:
$21-$25/hour Our client is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support service technicians and customers by handling service and sales orders, answering product-related inquiries, and delivering outstanding customer service. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity on 1st shift.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer phone calls and emails from customers and service technicians in a timely and professional manner Provide accurate technical information while ensuring compliance with company policies Recommend corrective services to resolve customer issues and complaints Maintain and update customer files Enter sales orders using OMS/WMS systems Assist customers in identifying appropriate part numbers Prepare and provide quotes, order confirmations, and shipment tracking information Respond to customer inquiries and follow up as needed Communicate and coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer concerns
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively convey information to customers Previous experience using OMS/WMS platforms Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with others
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to read blueprints Experience working in a manufacturing environment Education and/or
Experience:
Minimum of two years of customer service experience
