Full-Time Customer Service Representative Vermont Natural Coatings - Hardwick, Vermont Full-Time | In-Office Preferred About Vermont Natural Coatings At Vermont Natural Coatings, we manufacture professional-grade wood stains and finishes built on safer PolyWhey® technology. Our products are trusted by homeowners, contractors, flooring professionals, and retailers across the country who are looking for high-performing and more environmentally conscious wood coatings. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our growing team in a full-time Customer Service role. Position Overview The Full-Time Customer Service Representative serves as one of the first points of contact for Vermont Natural Coatings customers. This role focuses on answering inbound calls, assisting customers with product questions, processing orders, and supporting the sales team with day-to-day customer needs. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, communicating clearly, staying organized, and being part of a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities Answer inbound customer phone calls in a professional and friendly manner Assist customers with product questions, order inquiries, and basic troubleshooting Enter customer orders accurately into company systems Respond to customer emails and online inquiries Support the sales team with customer follow-up and account assistance Help customers navigate products, colors, and application questions Learn and communicate product information, FAQs, and company policies Maintain organized customer communication records Coordinate internally with sales, operations, and shipping teams as needed Assist with general customer service and administrative support tasks Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable speaking on the phone throughout the day Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Positive attitude and willingness to learn Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software systems Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Previous customer service, office, retail, or sales support experience is helpful but not required Training & Support The selected candidate will receive training on: Vermont Natural Coatings products and applications Frequently asked customer questions Order processing systems Customer communication procedures Internal systems and workflows Schedule & Compensation Full-time position Monday-Friday Competitive hourly pay based on experience Opportunity to grow with a Vermont-based manufacturing company Why Join VNC?
