Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative - Counter Sales serves as the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support in a fast-paced sales environment. This role is responsible for assisting customers with product inquiries, order processing, sales transactions, and resolving customer concerns while maintaining a professional and positive customer experience. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner Process customer orders, invoices, and payments accurately Provide product information, pricing, and availability to customers Maintain strong product knowledge to effectively recommend solutions Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries promptly Coordinate with dispatch, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure timely service Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate when necessary Maintain accurate customer records and transaction documentation Assist with inventory tracking and stock organization as needed Ensure the sales counter and customer areas remain clean and organized Follow company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards Support additional administrative and customer service duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous customer service, counter sales, or retail experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer and data entry skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities Professional attitude with a customer-focused mindset Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift and move materials up to 25 pounds occasionally Comfortable working in an office and industrial environment Work Environment This position operates in a customer-facing sales and service environment with regular interaction with customers, drivers, and operations personnel. The role may involve exposure to outdoor conditions and industrial equipment areas.
