Job Description:
Our client, a global manufacturing company, is looking for a Customer Service Representative with order management experience to process customer inquiries, orders, and shipment-related requests. This role partners closely with customers, sales, planning, warehouse, and accounting teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement in service levels. This is a Direct Hire, on-site position in Travelers Rest, SC.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up, maintain, and update customer accounts and part information Enter and acknowledge customer purchase orders within 24 business hours Process customer requests related to new or revised specifications and part numbers Manage open orders, order status, and customer web-based order portals Coordinate with production planning and warehouse teams to support on-time, in-full deliveries Allocate finished goods or work-in-process inventory to fulfill customer orders Communicate shipping requests and prepare required warehouse and customs documentation Generate daily shipping reports and calculate shipment estimates Create and release invoices on the same day as shipment Communicate regularly with customers and respond to inquiries in a timely manner Support Sales, Accounting, and Warehouse teams as needed, including month-end closing and audits Prepare reports and complete additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered Minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service or supply chain operations for a manufacturing company Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills Ability to remain composed and professional in a fast-paced environment Customer-focused, patient, and confident with a positive attitude Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$60,000-70,000 3% yearly bonus Medical, dental, and vision benefits PTO and paid holidays
SCHEDULE
Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, on-site
