We're looking for a talented customer service professional to facilitate the smooth day-to-day operations of our furniture department. The Customer Service Specialist ensures that every purchase ends with a positive experience by navigating logistics, vendor relations, and communication with composure. This position blends precise organization with courteous interpersonal skills, and the ideal candidate will show strength in both areas. This is a full-time position with benefits. Work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 9 am - 5 pm, with Sundays and Mondays off. The store is closed on most major holidays.Responsibilities:
Handle all incoming post-purchase customer issues over the phone, in person, and via text and email. Take detailed notes and work toward resolution in a positive, professional, and courteous way. Work independently to resolve issues in a timely manner. Proactively provide customers with regular updates. Communicate with vendors & freight companies to apply for and receive product credits. Process supplier returns. Maintain & organize furniture department documents and create necessary reports. Liaise between the sales team and the delivery department to ensure seamless hand-offs and resolutions. Present preventative actions for recurring issues and help management find opportunities for improvement.Qualifications:
Precise organizational skills & attention to detail Excellent time management & efficiency in multitasking Great customer service skills Clear, friendly, and highly professional communication skills on the phone, in person, and via email and text Confidence in resolving conflicts in a courteous way Strong analytical & problem-solving skills Proficiency in standard office software such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and POS systems Ability to self-manage daily workflowBenefits:
