Job Description:
Chesapeake Search Partners is partnering with a leading provider of public safety and emergency preparedness solutions to identify a Customer Success Representative (CSR) to support their outside sales team. The CSR will handle inbound customer inquiries, support quoting and pricing requests, assist with product sourcing, and help resolve order-related issues. This position plays an important role in maintaining strong customer relationships while supporting the success of the outside sales organization in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. This is a fully onsite opportunity in Lanham, Maryland.
Job Responsibilities:
Respond to inbound customer calls/emails regarding orders, pricing, inventory, quotes, claims, and order status Support outside sales with quoting, pricing, and bid opportunities Process customer orders and maintain accurate records in the ERP system Track orders from placement through delivery and provide proactive updates Source products through existing and new vendors to meet customer needs Provide freight estimates, rush requests, and delivery coordination as needed Make outbound calls to support customers and outside sales reps Ensure timely and accurate submission of quotes and orders Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and resolutions Assist with inventory processes and other operational tasks as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required 1-3 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment Prior sales support experience preferred Prior leadership experience preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting ERP experience (Epicor Prophet 21 preferred) is a plus Strong problem-solving and customer-focused mindset
