Job Description
Description Robert Half is looking for a Customer Success Specialist to support policyholders with responsive, detail-oriented service in Lexington-Fayette, Kentucky. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, managing a steady call volume, and creating positive experiences during routine service requests and sensitive claim-related conversations. The role offers a permanent schedule across a rotating four-day workweek, with the potential to move into a permanent position that includes licensing support and long-term benefits. This position requires a Property and Casualty insurance license Prior to starting the job. The company will reimburse you for out-of-pocket expenses.
Responsibilities:
- Handle a consistent stream of inbound customer calls related to property and casualty insurance policies, typically averaging around 30 interactions per day.
- Review account documentation and policy notes to provide accurate information, clarify prior activity, and address customer questions effectively.
- Gather initial details for claim-related calls and ensure a smooth handoff to the claims team while maintaining a calm and reassuring customer experience.
- Identify opportunities for additional products or services during customer conversations and route potential leads to the appropriate sales team.
- Enter and update client information in internal systems with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Deliver thoughtful, solution-oriented support that strengthens customer relationships and reflects strong service standards.
- Navigate CRM and related computer applications to document interactions, track follow-up needs, and maintain organized customer records. Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, customer support, or a similar client-facing position.
- Ability to manage frequent inbound calls while remaining composed, attentive, and detail-oriented.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to guide customer conversations clearly and courteously.
- Experience using CRM platforms and general computer programs for documentation and record management.
- Accurate data entry skills and the ability to review account notes carefully during live customer interactions.
- Comfortable assisting customers with insurance-related questions, service needs, and claim intake procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to recognize sales opportunities and relay them appropriately to internal partners.
