Patient Access Coordinator Manger Summary:
This position is responsible for designing, coordinating and implementation of patient engagement / care systems. Manage and support patient scheduling.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations within the companies call center with focus on customer service and productivity Ensure call center agents meet company expectations and standards Hire, train, and mentor call center agents Organize and coordinate call center agents' schedules to ensure company needs met Understand all company initiatives, services, procedures, and guidelines and communicate same to all team members through trainings Monitor calls to ensure HIPAA and quality standards are strictly adhered to and provide feedback to improve productivity Create productivity reports and submit to management for review Collaborate effectively with team members to improve call center productivity and customer experience Keep up with trends and happenings in the industry and ensuring adherence to industry standards Ensure provider practices are happy and satisfied at all times by providing prompt response and solutions to their challenges Ensure a safe and harmonious working environment for team members Remotely integrating practice EMRs to support company care coordination initiatives Conduct research, collect and analyze data to prepare reports and documents Collect office data representing practices' performance with various patient care services and collect patient data for use through our eligibility system Organize and retrieve documents and reference materials Must abide to all HIPAA, Confidentiality and Privacy laws Required Competencies Superior communication, management, organizational, and planning skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Advanced conflict resolution skills Information gathering and monitoring skills Problem analysis and problem-solving skills Keen judgment and decision-making ability High confidentiality awareness
Knowledge of HIPAA:
Legal and ethical consideration related to employee information Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time Attention to detail and accuracy Education and Experience Bachelor's degree required (2) years' experience in medical environment Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures
