The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of automotive repair processes. This role involves managing a team of service technicians, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and maintaining customer satisfaction. The Service Manager will play a crucial role in the operational success of our dealership, driving efficiency and fostering a positive work environment. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of service technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs. Oversee automotive diagnostics, oil changes, tire services, shocks and struts repairs, and auto body repairs. Ensure that all service work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Manage cash handling procedures within the service department, ensuring accurate transactions and financial accountability. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and feedback regarding service work. Maintain inventory levels for parts and supplies necessary for repair operations. Train and mentor service technicians on best practices in automotive repair techniques and customer interaction. Collaborate with dealership management to develop strategies for improving service department performance. Requirements Proven experience in automotive repair or as a Service Technician with knowledge of various automotive systems. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and techniques. Strong understanding of cash handling processes within a retail or dealership environment. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members professionally. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in a dealership setting is preferred but not mandatory.
