Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an adaptable and customer-focused Area Customer Service Coordinator for a temporary, full-time onsite assignment in Torrance, CA. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, active workdays, and supporting multiple customer service locations in a professional managed services environment. The Area Customer Service Coordinator will provide coverage and operational support across mailroom, shipping and receiving, copy center, reception, hospitality, and general office services functions. This opportunity offers a collaborative work setting, exposure to multiple client sites, and the chance to work with supportive teams that value reliability, professionalism, and strong customer service. Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily onsite operations across multiple customer locations, including mailroom, shipping and receiving, copy, print, scanning, reception, and hospitality services.
  • Process high-volume domestic and international shipments, incoming and outgoing mail, packages, courier requests, and related service documentation.
  • Travel between assigned service sites to provide staff coverage, operational support, training assistance, and implementation support for new accounts.
  • Maintain organized, stocked, and compliant service areas while following site procedures, safety standards, and operational guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot basic service issues, escalate concerns when needed, and provide timely, professional communication to internal and external clients.
  • Assist with reporting, data collection, records maintenance, conference room setup, and other office services duties based on site needs. Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay Rate:
    $22.00 to $23.00 per hour.
  • Job Type:
    Contract/Temporary, short-term coverage assignment.
  • Schedule:
    Full-time, Monday through Friday.
  • Shift:
    8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with possible coverage between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
  • Work Type:
    Onsite.
  • Location:
    Torrance, CA 90501.
