Job Description

Position Summary:
The Assistant Manager oversees the day to day operations of the operating unit. This role promptly handles resident escalations, resolving customer questions and concerns, upholds customer service standards and provides guidance and support to the Resident Services team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides excellent customer service by anticipating customer's needs, taking ownership and resolving questions and concerns promptly and professionally. Supervises and ensures community common areas, grounds and vacant units are consistently maintained to company standards, proactively identifying and resolving any potential hazards Oversees completion of all administrative resident services tasks and resident retention activities ensuring they are accurately documented in the appropriate operating platform. Provides hands-on training and mentorship to resident services associates to drive team engagement and performance. Ensures audit compliance to Standard Operating Policies/Procedures (SOPs). Executes administrative accounting processes for the operating unit. Drives efficiency by adopting and maximizing the use of new and existing technologies.
Additional Skills:
Proficiency in Google suite Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as Salesforce, RealPage or Coupa is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Education:
High School Diploma, General Educational Development (GED) or equivalent experience
Preferred Years of Relevant Work Experience:
2 - 5 years
Additional Requirements:
Travel between communities may be required daily. Valid California driver's license; Maintain continuous vehicle liability insurance as required by state law. (This role requires the regular and frequent operation of a vehicle, as defined in the Company's MVR policy, and is part of the essential duties of this position.)

Base Pay Range:
 $29.52 - $35.19 Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
