As an Account Manager at Liberty Paper, the primary focus is customer relationships, RFQs, customer outreach, and overall customer experience. This is not a traditional sales role , but rather a relationship-driven position centered around supporting existing customers, responding to bid opportunities, and building new business within school districts and public sector organizations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain assigned customer accounts Build strong customer relationships through regular communication and follow-up Research prospective customers and conduct outreach to generate new business opportunities Respond to RFQs (Requests for Quotes) and bid opportunities Make outgoing customer calls and send follow-up emails daily Process customer orders and assist with order follow-up Track all customer communication and activity in Salesforce Maintain accurate records and notes related to customer interactions and opportunities Work closely with internal departments to support customer needs and ensure a positive customer experience Assist with reporting and other account-related administrative tasks as needed
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
Previous Account Management, Customer Service, Sales Support, or Inside Sales experience preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Comfortable making outbound calls and customer outreach daily Strong organizational and follow-through skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Professional, friendly, and customer-focused communication style Experience with Microsoft Office and Salesforce or CRM systems preferred Experience working with RFQs, bids, or public sector customers is a plus Motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented This role is ideal for someone who enjoys relationship-building, communication, and business development, while also being comfortable working within a structured and detail-oriented sales process.
Pay:
$30.00 - $32.00 per hour
