Job Description

BASIC FUNCTIONS
Under the supervision of the Client Engagement Manager and the Clinical Supervisor of MHBHC Summit, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing services, guiding and supporting clients living with substance abuse and mental health issues, and supervising the front lobby area at Delaware location. Candidate will be part of a team of clinicians, Peer Coaches and administration providing intake and assessment services prior to and during a client's treatment episode.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Treat all clients with dignity and respect. Complete UA processes for all UA clients. Complete Patch processes for all Patch clients. Log in all order numbers onto UA Xcel spread sheet. Make sure Thank You cards are being written often and stamped to be sent out. Keep track and stock of UA, Patch and office supplies. Answer phone calls throughout the day. Assist clients with any questions/concerns they may have. Schedule all UA's, patches, intakes, evaluations, and unscheduled services on to CareLogic. Follow up with referrals from DHS, AHS, JHS and probation. Check fax machine often for results, referrals, etc. Take payments from clients for services. Make sure all expected daily Xcel spreadsheets are filled out completely Schedule and status services and in CareLogic for clients. Support clients accessing telehealth groups and other clinical services Close cash sheet out, close out credit card machine. Print out file and e-mail Daily Census to all correct staff members. Receive and deliver mail to the correct mail boxes. Incoming mail and deliveries check in with Admin. Maintain, check and call when services are needed for the copier/ printers. Call Bayaud when shredder bin is full. Make, keep stock and maintain intake/ evaluation packets. Keep waiting area neat and organized. Lock all doors, make sure no clients are still in the building, set alarm and close/lock parking lot gate when closing. When opening disarm alarm unlock/open gate. Perform task assigned and be there for clients in need.
QUALIFICATIONS
Desired Knowledge:
Knowledge of basic Excel, Microsoft, and computer skills. Knowledge of basic data entry skills. Knowledge of Mile High Behavioral Healthcare programs and local agencies' programs and services. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality client and personnel information . Desired Skills Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Work effectively with agency staff and service providers and with individuals experiencing criminal justice involvement, incarceration, substance abuse and mental health needs. Ability to work a flexible, non-traditional schedule, including nights and/or weekends. Ability to clearly communicate ideas in both written and verbal form. Ability to understand and relate to the needs of project participants of diverse ethnic, cultural, educational, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Ability to operate a computer to enter data, maintain records, and generate reports. Ability to network effectively with various types of organizations, including government agencies, law enforcement agencies, schools, social service agencies, courts/probation/corrections, and grassroots organizations. Ability to exercise judgment regarding appropriate information sharing, confidentiality requirements, and human relations while setting clear boundaries. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in the absence of direct supervision.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education:
minimum High School Diploma. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
Experience Preferred:
Minimum of two years' experience in administrative work and customer service. Experience working with the mental health and substance use participants and/or individuals involved with the judicial system, specifically high-risk, high-need adults on probation.

This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits. Salary is commensurate with experience. MHBHC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
