Job Description
•We are currently interviewing for a Full time live in Group Home House Parent. This is an all boy's home which will require a House Parent/Supervisor to live in during the week. The House Parent/Supervisor will function as a professional parental role model. The parent will ensure that the youth have a family-style program that accentuates skill acquisition and personal development in a safe environment. Must be able to supervised up to 4 staff and provide them the essentials they need when relieving you from the home. House Parent (Supervisor) must be able to live in one of Education Advantage Single Family homes Monday-Thursday night . The house parent will ensure the youth have a family- style environment, teaching them independent living skills, social and life skills. All household bills are paid by Education Advantage. Working hours may vary in regards to work/life balance, but there will be up to three additional staff that will relieve the Supervisor during the week and on weekends. The House Parent (Supervisor) will ensure a safe environment in the group home, providing direct supervision of youth. Ensures youth receive appropriate nutrition including healthy balanced meals planning. Assists youth in developing and refining daily living skills, academic, vocational training, and/or vocational pursuits; interact with other professionals such as teachers, employers, and other external service providers to maximize residents' success in these areas. Manages various paperwork, completes TIER entry and data entry as necessary. Manages the monthly budget of the home, planning ahead and purchasing routine supplies as needed; assures the daily operations of the home. Manages medical appointments, medical administration and tracking in accordance with FL administrative regulations. Maintains vehicles and home maintenance accordingly. Domestic responsibilities and other assigned duties including administrative directives. Report any acts, incidents, conditions, physical force and all unusual incidents or which reflect the possibility of client abuse including inappropriate client/client or staff/client relationships. Holds weekly house meetings with youth and staff.

$52,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year and EA Pays all the home and vehicle bills.
