Job Purpose The Studio Coordinator supports a variety of clerical, recordkeeping, and customer service tasks to assist with the smooth operation of the organization. The Studio Coordinator is responsible to maintain a clean and organized office space, provide hospitality for clients, manage interns, and support various departments as needed. Duties and Responsibilities
- Office o Receive and distribute mail o Maintain office supplies o Answer phones and direct calls accordingly o Calendar awareness and management o Schedule meetings: in house, external, and rep visits o Housekeeping tasks o Receiving/shipping o Manage landscaping and planting around building exterior
- Client & Employee o Assist with event planning and employee engagement o Client presentation hospitality o Annual client holiday gifts o Manage Interns o Assist owner occasionally with errands, shipments, and returns
- Department support o Assist with organization of inventory o Resource room support o Install errands as needed o Showroom/W Design liaison Qualifications, Education and Experience Include, but are not limited to:
- Written and verbal communication.
- Adaptable, able to pivot, personable, and outgoing.
- Awareness and respect for the WD brand and aesthetic.
- Aptitude for working independently and within a team in a collaborative environment.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Hands-on experience with MS Office Suite (particularly MS Word and MS Excel)
- Commitment to customer service, satisfaction, internally and externally.
- Meet deadlines and work well under time pressure.
- Creative problem solver who can devise strategies and propose solutions.
- Prioritize, plan, and execute diverse tasks simultaneously with little supervision.
- Anticipate issues and handle them independently.
- Ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
- Education (degree(s) required)o High School Diploma
- Experience (years of experience required) o Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in customer service Physical Requirements This position may include physical demands such as the ability to intensely focus and handle stressful situations.
