At Home Instead Vero Beach , our Senior Care Consultant / Client Care Manager serves as the primary advisor and advocate for our clients and their families. Through comprehensive care consultations, ongoing quality assurance visits, and trusted relationships, you'll help ensure every client receives the right care at the right time. This is not a scheduling or administrative position. It is a professional relationship management role that requires strong assessment skills, consultative sales ability, sound judgment, and a genuine passion for serving older adults. What You'll Do As our Senior Care Consultant / Client Care Manager, you'll own a portfolio of clients and serve as their trusted advisor throughout their Home Instead journey.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conduct comprehensive in-home Care Consultations, assessing each client's physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and environmental needs. Develop personalized care plans and confidently recommend service schedules and care solutions that best support each client's safety, independence, and quality of life. Guide families through the decision-making process using a consultative approach that builds trust while helping them understand the benefits of appropriate care. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and their families, building long-term relationships through consistent communication and exceptional service. Conduct client introductions with Care Professionals, ensuring a positive and successful start to services. Perform regular Quality Assurance visits to evaluate client satisfaction, monitor changing care needs, and recommend adjustments to care plans and service hours when additional support would improve client outcomes. Identify opportunities to enhance services through thoughtful professional recommendations based on client assessments and ongoing observations. Collaborate closely with Scheduling, Recruiting, Care Professionals, and office team members to deliver an exceptional client experience. Resolve concerns with empathy, professionalism, and proactive problem-solving. Maintain accurate client documentation, assessments, and service plans using company software. Preferred Background & Qualifications Candidates with experience in the following settings are especially encouraged to apply: Home Care Home Health Hospice Assisted Living Skilled Nursing Senior Living Communities Hospital or Rehab Case Management Hospital or Rehab Discharge Planning Medical Social Work Healthcare Admissions Geriatric Care Management Care Coordination or Patient Navigation Additional Qualifications include: Minimum of two years of professional experience in healthcare, senior care, care management, admissions, case management, client relationship management, or a closely related field. Experience conducting assessments, developing service recommendations, or guiding clients through important care decisions. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and consultative sales skills. Strong organizational, documentation, and time management abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using CRM or client management software. Valid driver's license and the ability to travel locally for client visits. Why Home Instead?
