Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead client engagements and supervise staff within our Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAAS) practice, with a strong emphasis on nonprofit organizations. Key Responsibilities Serve as primary client contact for a portfolio of business and nonprofit clients Supervise, review, and mentor CAAS staff (delegation, review of work, performance feedback) Oversee monthly accounting and payroll services Review and/or prepare monthly OCBOA financial statements Prepare nonprofit clients for annual audits, including drafting and organizing workpapers and coordinating with external auditors Compile full-disclosure GAAP financial statements for nonprofit clients Prepare and review Form 990 Advise clients on nonprofit-specific matters including startup, budgeting, grant reporting, compliance, and internal controls Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience supervising or reviewing the work of other accountants/staff Direct experience serving nonprofit clients (not just exposure) Experience preparing or reviewing Form 990 Experience with GAAP financial statements for nonprofit organizations Ability to manage multiple client relationships independently CPA or CPA candidate Preferred Qualifications Experience in a CAAS or outsourced accounting environment Experience working in a small or mid-sized firm setting
