Full Job Description Engineering Coordinator Location:
Cedar Rapids, IA Company Overview:
IFP Motion Solutions Inc. is a growing motion control corporation. Our business spans four locations and brands. Our customers include industrial manufacturers, mobile integrators, and fluid power OEMs. Combined with our knowledgeable sales team and expansive inventory, we can design, prototype, manufacture, or service any conceivable motion control system. Responsibilities and Duties
  • Receive, expedite and track all customer power unit assembly purchase orders ensuring bill of material and price is current and correct
  • Manage order acknowledgements
  • Communicate status updates, and answer customer questions
  • Support production delays & deadlines to ensure on-time delivery
  • Coordinate production release and drawings with the shop for power unit assembly
  • Issue purchase orders to vendors for parts needed in assemblies
  • Fill out paperwork to ship power units to customers, process miscellaneous requests from engineers and customers, and perform document file management Qualifications and Skills Demonstrated organizational skill Exceptional computer aptitude with a strong working knowledge in Excel Very detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Demonstrated customer support Preferred Experience • Two years of customer service • Two years in an industrial or technical environment • Strong computer knowledge • Someone who has a 'can-do' attitude and wants to achieve growth in the company
