Snake River Dispose-All is a family-owned and locally operated commercial garbage service committed to providing reliable, efficient, and friendly waste management solutions. We pride ourselves on our community roots and personalized service.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and organized Customer Service Specialist, Routing and Dispatching Coordinator to support our office operations. This full-time role involves managing customer accounts, coordinating routing and dispatching, performing general administrative duties, and some light cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and safe work environment. This is a full-time position—no exceptions.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage customer accounts including billing inquiries, service requests, and issue resolution. Coordinate and adjust daily routing to optimize efficiency and ensure timely service. Dispatch drivers, managing schedules and responding to operational needs. Perform general office duties such as data entry, filing, phone answering, and correspondence. Communicate regularly with drivers and field personnel to address routing or service concerns. Maintain accurate records of routes, customer interactions, and operational activities. Assist with light cleaning tasks to keep the office and workspace orderly and safe. Work collaboratively with others to support team goals and maintain a positive work environment. Accept and implement directions and corrective feedback from management. Work with management to improve processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Experience in customer service, office administration, dispatching, or route management is preferred. Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is highly desirable. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail. Must maintain a professional appearance and behavior. Ability to work well independently and especially with others in a team environment. Willingness and ability to work some overtime as needed. Ability to take directions and corrective feedback positively and apply it effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with routing software and proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. Customer-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Work Environment:
Office-based role with standard business hours. Fast-paced work environment with some flexibility required to meet operational demands, including occasional overtime.
Pay:
$14.00 - $18.00 per hour
