Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Service Technician Manager to lead our night and weekend service team in delivering exceptional maintenance, repair, and installation services. Responsibilities Assist in managing the daily operations of the service technician team, ensuring timely and efficient completion of maintenance, repairs, and installations. Provide technical guidance and support to technicians on complex repair, system troubleshooting, and logistics. Oversee service scheduling, dispatching technicians to customer sites while optimizing workflow for maximum productivity. Conduct quality control inspections on completed work to ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies. Support technicians by fostering a cooperative and harmonious working climate that maximizes employee morale and productivity. Maintain detailed records of service activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and inventory of parts and tools. Coordinate repairs to all equipment in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests Schedule and perform proactive maintenance on equipment Train and assist employees with equipment repairs Promote a safety-first culture by enforcing safety protocols during all maintenance and repair activities. Assists Service Manager with annual performance reviews Assists Service Manager with coordinating work hours including scheduling, approving time off requests, tracking absences, timekeeping and managing overtime expenses Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician with expertise in equipment repair. Demonstrated leadership skills with previous experience supervising or mentoring technicians in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely.
