A growing manufacturing company in Northbrook, IL is seeking an entry-level Customer Coordinator to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience in customer service, order coordination, and internal operations within a supportive and team-oriented environment.Job Description:
The Customer Coordinator will support day-to-day customer interactions, including assisting with quotes, order processing, and general inquiries. This role works closely with internal departments to ensure accurate information, timely updates, and a smooth overall customer experience.Key Responsibilities:
Assist with preparing and processing customer quotes and orders Track orders and follow up to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional manner Support new customer account setup and maintain accurate records Enter and update customer information in internal systems/CRM Communicate updates regarding order status, inventory, and shipments Partner with internal teams (Sales, Operations, etc.) to resolve customer needs Assist with basic documentation and administrative support tasks Provide general customer service support as neededQualifications:
0-2 years of customer service, administrative, or office experience (internships welcome) Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable speaking on the phone and interacting with customers Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with CRM systems is a plus, but not required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment Eagerness to learn and grow within a customer-facing role Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
