This position combines customer-facing sales with hands-on equipment staging and general inventory responsibilities. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working both with customers and around equipment. Primary Responsibilities Equipment Staging & Inventory Stage new and used equipment for display and customer pickup. Maintain an organized and professional equipment display area. Assist with receiving and organizing incoming equipment. Track equipment locations and help maintain accurate inventory records. Ensure equipment is properly tagged, priced, and ready for sale. Perform routine inventory checks and communicate discrepancies. Move equipment around the dealership as needed. Coordinate with Sales, Service, and other departments to ensure equipment is ready for customers. Sales & Customer Service Greet and assist walk-in customers. Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment and solutions. Provide basic product information, pricing, and available purchasing options. Prepare quotes and assist customers throughout the sales process. Follow up with prospective customers as needed. Maintain knowledge of current equipment, promotions, and available inventory. Work with other members of the sales team to provide a positive customer experience. Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills. Comfortable approaching and assisting customers. Sales experience preferred, but not required. Ability to learn equipment features and applications. Organized and detail-oriented. Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely operate or learn to operate Bobcat compact equipment. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Dependable, motivated, and willing to take initiative. Compensation This position is compensated through a combination of hourly wages and sales commission , providing a consistent base wage with additional earning potential based on individual sales performance. Typical Work Environment This is a hands-on position that will involve time at a sales counter, assisting customers on the dealership lot, staging and moving equipment, and maintaining inventory. The successful candidate should be comfortable transitioning between sales responsibilities and physical inventory-related tasks throughout the workday.
