Job Description
Job Summary Green Pest Solutions is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Service Manager to oversee our field service operations and lead a team of pest control technicians. This position is responsible for technician performance, daily scheduling and routing, customer retention, service quality, and meeting company revenue goals. The right candidate is comfortable managing people, working with performance data, addressing problems directly, and taking responsibility for the results of the service department. This is a hands-on management position for someone who is organized, dependable, and able to balance customer service, employee development, and business performance. What You'll Be Responsible For Supervise, coach, and hold service technicians accountable for daily performance, productivity, attendance, and adherence to company standards. Manage daily technician schedules and service routes to make efficient use of technician time and available capacity. Monitor daily and monthly production and take corrective action when performance is below expectations. Train and develop technicians by conducting regular field visits to observe service quality, provide coaching, and identify areas for improvement. Monitor callbacks, repeat service issues, cancellations, and customer complaints. Identify the cause of recurring problems and work to prevent them from happening again. Maintain accurate records related to technician performance, service issues, equipment, inventory, and other operational needs. Monitor inventory, equipment, and operational expenses and identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency without compromising service quality. Ensure technicians follow company safety procedures, service protocols, and applicable regulatory requirements. Track key metrics such as route completion, customer callbacks, cancellations, customer complaints, and director labor and adjust quickly to stay on plan. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Prefer to be a Kansas Certified Applicator, but if not, must be obtained upon hire.
