Job Description
Lead an established commercial HVAC and plumbing service team while building the department's next stage of growth. RMS is looking for an experienced Service Manager who can develop technicians, improve operations, strengthen customer relationships, and expand our service business across Southeast Louisiana. Based in Metairie, Louisiana, RMS Services provides commercial HVAC and plumbing service, construction, and maintenance for healthcare, education, municipal, industrial, and commercial clients. You will join a growing mechanical service company with an established local presence and a clear opportunity to influence its next phase. Key responsibilities include leading a team of HVAC and plumbing service professionals, coaching and supporting technicians, coordinating service operations, maintaining strong customer communication, reviewing estimates and completed work, helping resolve complex field issues, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and grow service revenue. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in commercial HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical service operations; experience leading a multidisciplinary service team is preferred. Experience supervising, coaching, or coordinating technicians or service professionals is preferred. Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC and plumbing systems. Ability to read mechanical drawings and specifications. Experience estimating and quoting service repairs. Strong organizational and communication skills. Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and service management software.
