Specialty Bolt & Screw, Inc. (SBS) , founded in 1977, is an international distributor of fastening components supporting large industrial manufacturers worldwide. We help keep assembly lines running smoothly all around the globe across a wide range of industries, from personal watercraft and performance automotive systems to professional stadium seating and advanced microchip manufacturing. We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Customer Service Account Manager to join our Team in Agawam, Massachusetts and provide solutions and support to customers. This is an on-site, Monday - Friday position with outstanding benefits including 3 weeks Paid Time Off Per Year and no nights, no weekends, and no cold calling!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develop and maintain a collegial, positive, and trusted relationship with customers.
  • Interact with and assist customers through emails and telephone conversations.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products according to customer needs.
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives for internal and external customer projects.
  • Enhance department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests by working with internal teams to add value to our customers.
  • Field requests for new products, work with our Sourcing Department to obtain information, and prepare customer quotes.
  • Monitor and analyze customers' usage of our products.
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly / quarterly initiatives for internal and external customer projects.
  • Provide timely responses to customers and follow through as necessary to ensure satisfaction.
  • Build networks to foster and create opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Responsible for working with the business development team to on board and integrate new customers and enhancing existing customer relationships.
  • Act as a liaison between the customers and internal teams and work with internal teams to ensure total customer satisfaction.
SPECIFIC EDUCATION, JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
  • Solid work history in same or similar role.
  • High School Diploma required. Additional education and/or training a plus.
  • At least 2 years' customer service experience in a busy office.
  • Strong verbal, organizational and written communication skills.
  • High level of proficiency in Excel a plus.
ERP / CRM
experience desired.
  • Personable with great customer service skills to interface with customers, vendors, and internal teams by phone, on-line, and occasionally in person with another team member.
  • Collaborative - ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Able to multi-task activities with shifting priorities while working in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.
  • Flexible, self-managed, and persistent with exceptional follow-through skills.
  • Keen attention to detail; superb decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills.

Pay:
$48,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
