About the Role An insurance agency in Boston seeks an experienced commercial property and casualty insurance professional to manage their non-sales operations. As Insurance Agency Operations and Client Service Manager , you're involved with initiatives that help the agency grow its client base, achieve a high level of retention, and operate efficiently behind the scenes to ensure consistent and seamless service delivery. Duties & Responsibilities Manage account managers, coordinators, and other support staff Provide expertise and guidance on complex and/or escalated service, renewal, and marketing issues Be involved with hiring, training, mentoring, employee development, and career pathing Audit files, monitor workflows, assign clients/books of business, and allocate accounts to the appropriate account rep based on account complexity, size, and capability Operational efficiencies, reporting, compliance, and technology utilization Work closely with external partners and insurance company underwriters on the latest products and market trends Skills & Experience Strong commercial property and casualty foundation in areas related to this job- client service, marketing, underwriting, etc. Minimum two (2) years of prior supervisory/management experience Tagged as: administrative, agency, audits, best practices, broker, casualty, commercial, compliance, director, employee development, insurance, management, manager, operations, processes, property, regional operations, training, vice president, workflows
