Move Coordinator

Introduction Moyer & Sons Moving & Storage. Inc. is a full-service, award-winning, family-owned moving company, that first opened its doors in 1969. We have a phenomenal team and we are looking to add new team members (to our Elkridge and Clarksburg locations). Moving & Storage industry experience is not required, but applicants with industry experience will be viewed as a "high priority". • Strongly Encouraged:

  prior customer service or sales experience, at a transportation/logistics/moving and storage company.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft, Outlook, etc.)
• Familiarity with using an Order Entry system.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Strong written communication skills.
• General customer service experience.
• The ability to prioritize your own schedule of work, on a daily/weekly level
• Organized and detailed oriented.
• Comfortable working on individual tasks and team projects. Job Description Moving Coordinator / Inside Sales / Customer Service (You would report directly to our Director of Sales). Lead Customer Service, point of contact. . Once an order is officially booked
• the moving coordinator becomes the lead point of contact, between our customer and the office. The moving coordinator would manage a collection of booked orders and perform routine customer service functions. . Complete a routine task list for each booked customer
• . Coordinate the customer experience from the time a customer is booked, to the time that services are completed. . Creates the physical job file and creates/completes paperwork with the customer, as needed. . Interfaces with the Sales Team, Operations Team, and other members of the company. Customer Service front lines / answers phones . Field inbound calls
• assist as needed, or forward to the appropriate party. Inside Sales Support / Appointment Setting . Field inbound calls from prospective customers. . Explain our process / answer initial questions / set up customer with an appointment on the Sales Calendar. Secondary Functions
• Serve as a backup to other customer service/administrative functions, at the office.
