This position plays an important role in keeping our technicians productive and making sure our customers receive timely, professional service. The right person will be comfortable balancing several responsibilities throughout the day, communicating with technicians, customers, and vendors, and staying on top of parts orders from start to finish. Responsibilities Order parts and supplies for technicians accurately and in a timely manner Track outstanding parts orders, backorders, and expected delivery dates Communicate with technicians regarding parts needs and availability Pick up parts and supplies from local distributors as needed Receive and organize incoming parts orders Check out customers and process payments Assist customers in person, over the phone, and through email Answer and respond to general customer service emails Help coordinate customer questions, parts requests, and service-related communication Maintain an organized front office and parts workflow Prepare and conduct weekly bank deposits Communicate with vendors and distributors when resolving order or availability issues Assist with other general office duties as needed What We're Looking For Dependable and punctual Highly organized with strong attention to detail Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Comfortable speaking with customers and providing professional customer service Good written communication skills Comfortable using email, computers, invoices, and point-of-sale systems Able to work independently without needing constant supervision Valid driver's license and reliable driving record for local parts pickups Comfortable handling payments and deposits responsibly Experience working in a motorcycle, automotive, powersports, dealership, repair shop, or parts department is strongly preferred, but we are willing to consider the right candidate with applicable customer service, administrative, or inventory experience. Knowledge of motorcycles and motorcycle parts is a plus. About the Position This is a front-office position in an active motorcycle shop environment. You will work closely with our technicians and management and will often be the connection between the shop, our customers, and our parts suppliers. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their responsibilities, follows through on tasks, and understands that getting the correct parts ordered on time directly affects the productivity of the entire shop.
