Job Description

Copper Country Community Mental Health is hiring a full-time Client Services Manager/Co-Occurring Specialist to join their team in Houghton, Michigan. This position is part of the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT)/Integrated Dual Disorder (IDDT) team and works with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, including individuals with co-occurring disorders. This is a meaningful opportunity for someone who enjoys community-based work, person-centered support, and helping individuals and families access the services, treatment, and resources they need.
WHAT WE OFFER.
$61,193 - $82,191 annual starting salary based on licensure and experience. PLUS $5,000 sign-on bonus. Medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage. Disability and life insurance. Retirement and deferred compensation plans. Paid time off. Full-time Monday - Friday position generally working 8am - 5pm.
WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE.
Provide Supportive Services. Help adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Coordinate
ACT/IDDT
Services. Work as part of a multidisciplinary, community-based team that provides a broad range of supports. Develop Treatment Plans. Create and update treatment plans that reflect each person's goals, needs, and progress. Manage Referrals. Connect individuals with appropriate services, supports, benefits, and community resources. Monitor Progress. Review each person's progress and adjust services as needed to support continued stability and growth. Coordinate Benefits and Services. Help individuals access and maintain needed benefits, supports, and care coordination. Maintain Confidential Records. Keep all information secure and private, adhering to confidentiality standards.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a directly related field is required. Current Michigan licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure in the State of Michigan. Certification as an Addictions Counselor, or ability to obtain certification within 3 years if hired for this position is required. Experience working in the mental health services field is preferred. Valid driver's license required. Able to pass a criminal background check.
