$85,000 - $105,000 yearlyResponsibilities:
Evaluate and assess employee performance, establish clear performance objectives, and manage/prioritize individual and team activities Interpret and communicate overall organizational goals and apply them to team directives Provide guidance and support to staff members, aiding in the recruitment process to secure qualified candidates Develop and review protocols for customer service and operational efficiency to guarantee seamless and productive workflows Identify operational shortcomings and devise strategies to enhance customer service and streamline operations Implement necessary procedural adjustments, effectively rolling out changes to optimize efficiency Lead, mentor, and develop team members, providing guidance, tools, skills training (including software platforms, carrier relations, customer service etiquette), and support to ensure high performance and professional growth Ensure the department adheres to state insurance regulations, licensing requirements, and industry best practices Oversee documentation, policy accuracy, and coverage/exclusions to reduce E&O risksQualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree from a college Five years of experience in customer service within the commercial insurance industry is preferred, but not required Holding a Michigan PC Insurance License is preferred Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Agency Management Systems (preferably AMS360).
