Service Support - Brooklyn Park, MN The Service Support role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and administrative support, managing customer interactions, coordinating service schedules, and handling essential paperwork for repairs and deliveries. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with standard office equipment. Essential Functions
- Answer incoming customer calls, schedule repair and delivery appointments, and coordinate technician availability to meet customer needs.
- Greet customers entering the store, manage customer flow, and provide prompt service. Supervise waiting customers to ensure a positive experience.
- Create and complete service orders, including prior authorizations and funding checks, and update customers on any out-of-pocket expenses.
- Receive and locate parts, handle pricing for repair orders, and collect customer payments as needed.
- Enter repair work orders into the computer system, maintain accurate records, and forward documents for customer file updates.
- Organize equipment repairs, request authorization numbers from manufacturers, and prepare necessary paperwork.
- Adhere to HIPAA, HQAA, and company compliance rules, ensuring all actions align with regulatory standards.
- Perform periodic inventory checks, diagnose equipment issues with customers via video or photos, and contact manufacturers for quotes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management. Qualifications and requirements
- High School or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years in a customer service or administrative role.
- Proficient with office equipment, including computers, printers, copiers and fax machines.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and a friendly, professional telephone manner.

- Work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.
