Brown & Brown is seeking a Property Casualty Account Manager to join our growing team in Minneapolis, MN! The Property Casualty Account Manager provides high quality customer service while assisting in the coordination of services between the client and the insurance company. The Property Casualty Account Manager participates in the marketing process and provides clerical support to the team.
How You Will Contribute:
Responds directly and promptly to client inquiries and requests while keeping the rest of the Service team advised. Accurately prepares, processes, reviews and monitors various documents such as certificates of insurance, Auto ID cards, binders, audits, endorsements, renewal information request forms, draft of insurance specifications, draft of proposals, etc. Collects and analyzes client exposure data Promptly responds to routine requests for data and questions from clients, underwriters and internal staff. Develops and maintain client service plans, manages mid-term changes and assists in Stewardship reviews. Provides leadership to others on team and at company. Typically, responsible for coordination and managing the work of others on the account. Responsible for new client setup and ongoing client maintenance in the appropriate agency management system(s).
This includes such duties as:
filing documents and updating client information into the policy management system, tracking the status of open items, providing documents to client and team members as requested. Completes premium finance agreement requests and creates premium allocations as needed. Verifies accuracy of invoicing and handles accounting issues. Requests and summarizes loss runs, may process claims and provide client advocacy. Meets with prospects and clients as needed to enhance knowledge of client accounts.
Licenses & Certifications:
licensed as a Producer of Property and Casualty in applicable state. Skills & Experience to be
Successful:
3 or more years related experience Strong oral and written communication skills with a proven commitment to high quality customer service. Strong attention to detail. Strong time management skills and the ability to evaluate and prioritize multiple projects/tasks to maximize the number of internal and external clients that can be assisted while maintaining a high level of customer service. Good keyboard and PC skills using word processing and spreadsheet software, familiarity with various software applications and the ability to learn new software systems. College degree (preferred). #LI-DA1 Pay Range $31.25 - $36.06 Hourly The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
