THE ROLE

Blue Compass RV is seeking a dedicated and experienced RV Lot Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our RV lot. The RV Lot Manager will be responsible for managing the inventory, supervising lot staff, ensuring a high standard of customer service, and maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the lot. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Oversee the placement, organization, and inventory of all RVs on the lot. Ensure all RVs are properly tagged, priced, and displayed. Conduct regular inventory audits and coordinate with the sales and service departments to track incoming and outgoing units. Greet and assist customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a professional and friendly manner. Provide tours of the lot and showcase RV features and benefits to potential buyers. Resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively. Manage and train lot staff, including sales associates, lot attendants, and maintenance personnel. Schedule and assign tasks to ensure efficient lot operations. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff. Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the lot, including landscaping, signage, and overall organization. Ensure all RVs are clean and in excellent condition for display. Coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs and upkeep of RVs and lot facilities. Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed by staff and customers. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards promptly. Maintain accurate records of safety training and incidents. Assist the sales team with RV showings, test drives, and delivery processes. Provide detailed information about RV features, options, and pricing. Support marketing initiatives, including lot promotions and events.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE TABLE

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, management, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in lot management, inventory control, or a similar role, preferably in the RV or automotive industry. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Proficiency in computer systems and inventory management software.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and move around the lot for extended periods. Capability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
