Job Description

Service Coordinator I is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the service department, including scheduling service appointments, coordinating field technicians, managing service-related documentation, and ensuring timely and professional customer communication. This entry level position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Coordinate and Schedule:
Schedule appointments with clients and service technicians. Act as the point of contact for service-related inquiries via phone and email.
Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking:
Identify service gaps and issues, making informed decisions quickly, adapting to changing situations, find practical solutions, de-escalate frustrated clients, balance customer needs with company policy, resolve issues.
Organizational and Time Management:
Prioritize tasks and managing multiple cases, meeting deadlines, following up consistently, attention to detail, record keeping and documentation management.
Responsiveness:
Timely, proactive, and consistent.
Communication and Personality:
Clear communication, active listening, effective listening, accurate communication, calm communication, polite, positive, impactful, confident, respectful.
Technology, Reading and Writing:
Microsoft Office Suites, email management and etiquette, team collaboration platforms (Teams), file management and cloud storage (SharePoint, Google Drive, OneDrive), proper spelling, punctuation, salutation, proofread, professional email writing, tone control.
