• Overview:

• We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Client Service Advocate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be self motivated and possess skills to work directly with clients in crisis situations in a fast paced environment. Position 2pm-8pm with rotating schedule
• every other weekend

Pay:

$10.25/hr.

• Duties:

• Provide services to clients in high stress crisis situations
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service delivery
• Serve as the primary point of contact for shelter clients, victims, and survivors, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client safety
• Provide crisis counseling to individuals calling on 24 hour crisis hotline
• Assess clients for shelter intake
• Provide information and referrals
• Enforce shelter rules and regulations to ensure safety is top priority
• Physical tasks such as bending, lifting, climbing stairs,general household cleaning

• Skills:

• Experience working with victims of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault
• Ability to multitask and work under little supervision
• Knowledge of basic computor skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly
