Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Client Manager - Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal lines insurance, with a passion for delivering consultative customer experiences. As a CSR, you will be responsible for managing client accounts, identifying coverage gaps, and implementing strategies to enhance retention and cross-sell opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service to new and existing clients Assist clients with policy changes, renewals, billing questions, certificates, claims support, and coverage questions Process endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and other policy servicing requests Maintain accurate client records and documentation within agency management systems Communicate with insurance carriers regarding underwriting, policy updates, and client needs Review policies for accuracy and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding items Support producers/agents with account management and retention efforts Help identify cross-sell and coverage opportunities when appropriate Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and in person in a professional and timely manner Assist in delivering a positive and seamless customer experience from start to finish Stay current on agency procedures, carrier guidelines, and insurance products
Qualifications:
Previous customer service or insurance experience preferred Property & Casualty insurance license preferred (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning agency management systems Positive attitude and team-player mentality
Preferred Skills:
Experience in an independent insurance agency environment Knowledge of personal lines and/or commercial insurance Experience with Applied Epic, AMS360, HawkSoft, or similar agency systems Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term client relationships
