Job Description

Waste Connections is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Scale House Attendant to join our team. This role is a critical first point of contact for our customers and requires strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
Pay:
$20 per hour
Schedule:
Monday - Friday / 7 am to 4 pm Primary Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers Operate truck scales (weighing vehicles in and out accurately) Maintain and update customer account and transaction information Set up new customer accounts in the system Run daily and monthly operational reports and input data into Excel spreadsheets Generate, review, and process customer invoices Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and site staff Perform administrative tasks while working independently with minimal supervision Qualifications & Requirements Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Solid communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Flexible availability, including weekends
Physical & Work Environment Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. Ability to use a computer, keyboard, and office equipment for prolonged periods.
