Full Job Description Job Summary:
Serve as the primary contact for customers, outside suppliers and external customers. Plan and manage projects from estimating, through finishing, delivery, shipping and job close-out. Accurately communicate customer's requirements to the manufacturing team. This is a NOT a sales position. It is a project management position.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma, College Degree preferred, at least 5 years' experience in customer service in the printing and mailing industry. Ability to perform duties and tasks required by applicable Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Review documents (estimates, schedules, customer requirements, material orders etc.). Fully understand customer's expectations and project details. Plan for optimum quality and efficiency at or below estimated cost. Receive, sort, and inventory all customer-supplied materials. Check with client to determine when all required material will arrive. Ensure timely return of customer property in original condition. Arrange for pickups and deliveries as requested. Prepare work orders, job bags, layouts and purchase orders, following company's procedures for effective communications. Leave job bags and all job-related records readily understandable should another account executive need to "pick-up" the job. Make sure that all samples (for copy, for color, etc.) for manufacturing departments are clearly identifiable as per the company's standard operating procedures. Enter all instructions and records into Midnight. Keep quantity and delivery date current. Enter correct "location changes" to track job progression and completion. Respond to all questions and concerns from associates and customers. Provide solutions to problems. Maintain or increase sales revenues for assigned accounts by providing and ensuring exceptional service. Communicate workload and status of projects to supervisors and co-workers. Serve as a back-up to other Account Executives and assist with their workload if necessary. Double-check client's prepress proofs. Send proofs to customers and receive them upon return. Communicate AAs (author's alterations) to DP/Prepress department. Generate detailed purchase orders and provide samples for subcontracted work, as required. Review, approve, and monitor product to ensure clients' expectations are met. Ensure that project components are available on time to meet schedule. Inform Director of Client Services of any major concerns. Ensure that all AAs and costs are promptly and accurately documented for billing. Maintain or reduce costs associated with assigned accounts. Prepare jobs for billing. Adhere to Digital Dog Direct's quality standard, policies, procedures, goals, and objectives and comply with all safety and work rules when performing duties. Complete and maintain all required checklists, paperwork, records, documents, etc. and maintain departmental housekeeping standards.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
